Water Quality

Your water originates in the Sierra, flows into Stumpy Meadows Reservoir, and is transported to the Walton Lake and Auburn Lake Trails (ALT) water treatment plants. The Walton Lake plant serves the communities of Georgetown, Garden Valley, Kelsey and Greenwood. The ALT plant serves Auburn Lake Trails, Cool, Pilot Hill, Cherry Acres, Meadow View Acres and a portion of Greenwood.

The Georgetown Divide Public Utility District takes great pride in the high quality of the water we supply to our customers.
